PeruseLab is a cloud-based chemical informatics system that provides a comprehensive suite of tools to advance the learning, research, and discovery efforts of chemists and chemistry-based businesses. Our hope is to provide global access to a rich source of chemical information and analytics, while facilitating collaboration and communication within the scientific community. We believe that the world’s most significant scientific and technological advancements are a result of people having access to the tools and resources needed to explore their world and contribute to it. PeruseLab was founded by Dr. Velusamy K. Velu in June 2014 to employ recent advances in information technology to make the process of discovering and sharing chemical information quicker and more efficient. With a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology –Roorkee and research experience with computer applications in chemistry, he began a career in computer science where he gained over twenty-five years of experience as a software developer. Dr. Velu draws on this combination of experience and expertise to build PeruseLab. We were delighted to partner with PeruseLab to produce this awesome Kickstarter campaign video along with a few other supplemental videos/recording for their campaign.

Jubilee Soil, of Marietta, Ohio, has put together a grant proposal for the future “Jubilee Center for Sustainable Agriculture,” as detailed in this video. I served as a Producer and Cinematographer on this project.

Paper Circle is a non-profit organization located in Nelsonville, Ohio. The organization has pioneered an incredible annual arts enrichment program, entirely free of charge, for the under-served children of the York-Nelsonville school district; as the children are entirely without any exposure to the arts in their public education. I served as a Producer and Cinematographer on this project.

Video to commemorate the eight-month-mark of the Circleville Church of Christ Youth Group, covering the group’s brief history as well as exploring their proposed future and requesting support in their efforts.

This video was produced recently for the Ohio Christian University’s College of Adult and Graduate Studies (whose main campus is located in Circleville) and was aired on Time Warner’s network in Central Ohio. This was a first for Rise Up Productions, though certainly not the last, as we’ve never produced a television commercial before. The only difference in the process, really, are the stringent output format standards that the network requires. Beyond that, this was an exciting opportunity and is the first in a series of projects planned in cooperation with OCU. Stay tuned for more!
